Tokuyo Lima

Food was really good! I ordered the Chahan and the portion was big. The bottled water they sold was clean and tasted good. The waiters were friendly and also spoke english so it was easy to communicate. ***UPDATE*** It was so good we went again the same day with the rest of my family for dinner. The Ramen Miso was really good with the perfect balance of noodles and broth. The beef from the lomo saltado was cooked nicely and it was tender too. Must go!

I think Peruvian - Japanese cuisine has become my new favorite fusion and this place truly delivered. Sushi rolls have great flavors and their ceviche is impeccable.

We liked this spot but I think I would stick to the ramen and the isoyaki graten which were delicious. The Maki was a bit heavy on cream cheese which I personally am not a big fan of. Great place with good energy and service.

I cracked, I needed Asian food I asked ChatGPT for help and ended up at Tokuyo Casa Nikkei in Miraflores, just a short walk from my hotel. Is it as good as real Japanese food? Not quite, but it definitely hits the spot. They’ve got gyoza, raw fish, ramen, and poke bowls—good enough to satisfy the craving!

During my stay in Lima, I discovered this amazing restaurant! The dishes were outstanding, with a great variety of Japanese food. The staff spoke English and were incredibly friendly, helping us choose the perfect dishes. Highly recommended!

I found Tokuyo through Google Maps, drawn in by recent reviews, and after devouring four dishes in under 40 minutes I can say with confidence it delivers Nikkei (Peruvian/Japanese fusion) comfort that feels young, confident, and quietly serious about flavor. The tiradito nikkei was the clear star, citrusy tuna, creamy avocado, and leche de tigre so addictive I scraped the plate, with the spicy crab salmon nigiri close behind. The makis and miso did not wow me, but the evergreen mint ginger lemonade, the bright space and playlists that jump from Hotel California to Notorious B.I.G. absolutely did. Add a youthful staff that clears plates without being asked constantly and a refreshingly fair check, and it is easy to see why I will be back and why you probably should too.

The Tiradito Nikkei is simply amazing, the sweet and sour soy-based sauce goes perfectly with the tuna and the other ingredients. It's one of the best peruvian (fusion) food that I've had alongside anticuchos and classic ceviche. The maki is only okay only, had hotate maki and the cream cheese was quite overwhelming. Just get the Tiradito!

Such a cute place and super delicious food, came here with my husband, he really liked it, mind be eats a lot, the makis has a good size. All was awesome
